Caritas Artland Established

Caritas Artland is located at the MTR Nam Cheong Station and specializes in selling various handicrafts made by people with disabilities. It also provides retail training and internship opportunities for them, helping to develop their handicraft skills and other vocational abilities.

2015

'I Want to Be a Boss' program

Since 2015, Caritas Artland has launched the 'I Want to Be a Boss' program to help service users explore new career paths. This program assists them in establishing their own brands, experiencing what it feels like to be a boss, and realizing their entrepreneurial dreams.

Live Art

Caritas Rehabilitation Services, through the 'Live Art' program, is dedicated to developing and promoting the artistic talents of service users. This initiative allows them to experience the freedom, choices, and opportunities within art, leading them on an artistic journey to find and explore their own means of artistic expression. Ultimately, it enables them to express themselves through art and connect with society, enriching their lives.

Caritas Greenliving

Caritas Artland has set up in Tsuen Wan, promoting the concept of a simple, eco-friendly, and green lifestyle through a physical store called 'Caritas Greenliving' and various sales events in different locations. The aim is to spread the idea of minimalist and artistic living through vibrant handicraft creations, connecting simple art with life.

Art Pace

Building on the 'Live Art' program, the 'Art Pace' initiative allows friends with special needs to participate in various local art activities, gradually progressing from appreciation to exploration, learning, and showcasing their work, thus fostering connections with society. Each small step adds up to a significant leap toward inclusion.

Caritas Artland

On April 1 2024, Caritas Artland was repositioned with the support of the Hong Kong Community Chest, transforming into a comprehensive platform for the artistic development of Caritas Rehabilitation Services' service users. Through a series of artistic cultivation and skill workshops, it aims to enhance their artistic potential. Additionally, by providing various professional development and personal growth opportunities, it encourages self-expression and communication, helping them achieve their artistic dreams and build an inclusive and empowering society.
